Norma Jean’s guest for Episode 9 is San Francisco Astrologer, Jack Fertig. Jack (born 21 Feb. 1955 12:16 pm cst [18.16 gmt] in Chicago, Illinois, USA) has been studying Astrology since 1969 and practicing professionally in San Francisco since 1977. A long time columnist in the San Francisco Bay Times and then the San Francisco Spectrum, he now writes the internationally syndicated Q Scope and has also written for a number of other journals and magazines. He offers both personal and business consultations, but his principle interest is in outer planet motions and their correlations to social and historical changes; and he teaches the Introduction to Geo-Political Astrology at the International Academy of Astrology (formerly the Online College of Astrology) online at www.astrocollege.com. He is a member of the International Society for Astrological Research, the National Council for Geo-Cosmic Research, a founding member of the Association For Astrological Networking – to which he was recently elected to the board, and serves on the steering committee of the San Francisco Astrological Society.

Norma Jean’s guest for Episode #6 is Georgia Stathis, the author of Business Astrology 101: Weaving the Web between Business and Myth and one of the founders of The Apollon Group, an organization that assists companies in finding their best cycles and timing. Georgia has been a professional astrologer since 1977. Receiving her M.B.A. in 1978 and having a strong business background prior to that time, she moved towards an integration of business and financial cycles as they align with planetary cycles. This interest moved her in the direction of Business Astrology, specializing in trend forecasting, vocational assessment, business and corporate assessment and timing for more effective growth and marketing within the context of a company.

Ms. Stathis is a charter faculty member of Kepler College in Lynnwood, Washington (www.kepler.edu) as well as the author of an annual planning book entitled the 2009 Starcycles Calendar, an interactive timing calendar written for those who would like to use planetary cycles, but do not have the time to study. Luiza Azancot has been studying natal and mundane astrology for the past 9 years although her love for the subject started much earlier. Her purchase of a Carl Jung book in 1971 led her on a convoluted path to become a professional astrologer 35 years later. Luiza will graduate from OCA, www.astrocollege.com, at the end of 2008. She is also an instructor for OCA, teaching The Archetypes of the Zodiac. Jung’s psychology and her astrological studies have given Luiza a connection to the Universe and a tool to achieve and help others achieve a better integration of our conflicting psychological drives. If we change our consciousness, we end up changing the collective consciousness, which may be the only effective way to change the world for the better.
